Review on RMT-AA401U Replacement Remote Control for Sony STR-DH190, STR-DH590, STR-DH790 AV Receivers by Jeff Alradwan

I bought this remote after I lost my original remote when I moved house. It works exactly as advertised for my Sony STRDH590 5.2 surround sound. A few months after moving I found the original OEM remote (pictured right). They are almost identical except the replacement is made in China, the OEM in Indonesia. The replacement has IR behind the plastic IR shield (pictured above), the OEM has an IR shield (pictured below). The replacement is a bit more angular while the OEM is more rounded. Button print quality is better on OEM, but crisp on both. All in all, it's a reasonable price for an almost identical remote that works exactly like the original. I would recommend.
