Haven't used them as a grill yet just to hold the ribs on the grill. I use two side by side, which takes up a lot of space but keeps the meat off the grill. I love how much room it takes to put the fins in, it fits all the fins I've bought to date and has enough room to pull them out without catching on them. It's very easy to clean, which is also a plus. I only give 1 star because they are too big for me. If you're just cooking/smoking ribs, they're perfect. Whether you're trying to cram in ribs, chicken, pork shoulder or whatever, the space is expensive and too big for all of that. They're the perfect size for any roast you can buy.
