The reflectors on this vest work very well in conjunction with my flashlight and wheel lights to create a very, very visible cyclist for motorists.While, yes, I have to deal with jerk motorists who like to blind me by flashing their brights at me repeatedly, I do feel safer for having bought this visibility vest. If you cycle around motorists--a lot or a little--this is a must.In case any of you are wondering: This IS machine washable. I had to do a bit of research to decipher the clothes care symbols on the label. Basically: Wash in cold water. Do not bleach. Do not iron. Do not tumble dry.
