A vacuum cleaner for a printer that can't handle toner - how useful it is!

I bought this cleaner specifically to clean office printers. So I was very annoyed that the instructions said it was "unable to pull toner". And that's a vacuum cleaner advertised for cleaning printers! Is toner one of the main contaminants in printers? I thought that the omission of this fact in the description was very misleading. I hope if you are shopping for a printer cleaner you read this first.
