Don't waste your money - the suction side of the canister is very bad!

This machine was purchased after careful consideration. However, as soon as I tried vacuuming the vents on my computer and other peripherals, it became apparent that this device lacked suction power! While the outlet end of the device appeared to be forcing air out, the suction side didn't. I held my hand over the suction nozzle and it felt very, very weak. In my opinion, if a vacuum is going to be used on a computer, it should have some sort of adapter that sucks dust out of the vents of…

  • A dream come true

The best solution for cleaning electronics and more

I bought this to replace electronics cleaning air tanks. And I'm so glad I did! It is great! I bought an extra hose for the other end and when I blow out the PC I use the other hose to catch as much of the dust and dirt that is being blown out of the PC so it doesn't settle back onto the PC itself . I've used it for everything from cleaning PCs, laptops to game consoles and TVs. Works about as well or even better than using Air Cans. Not only is this thing used for blowing out electronics, it…

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Upgradeable

It sucks. It also blows.

It sucks. I mean it really sucks. I have a small shop vacuum that doesn't have as much suction as this one. I think he could suck a golf ball through a garden hose. I mentioned that these are punches too. Consider a small corded leaf blower. I mean there is some power. It comes with enough accessories to cover whatever I could use it for. If you're looking for one of those useless little battery powered electronic vacuum cleaners, this isn't it. It's a portable device, but it's by no means…

Pros
  • Tough finish
Cons
  • Durability

I bought this cleaner specifically to clean office printers. So I was very annoyed that the instructions said it was "unable to pull toner". And that's a vacuum cleaner advertised for cleaning printers! Is toner one of the main contaminants in printers? I thought that the omission of this fact in the description was very misleading. I hope if you are shopping for a printer cleaner you read this first.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Too stupid

Powerful but fragile

Very powerful and compact. Very good equipment. I didn't give five stars because it heats up very quickly, but it's not that bad. The worst thing is, DO NOT LEAVE IT! I dropped it less than 3 feet onto soft carpet and it knocked the motor out of its mount inside the unit. It was pretty easy once you are familiar with tools to fix it. If not, hope it's really covered. Oh yeah I didn't accidentally drop it. I dropped it because the crappy strap that came with the device came loose.

Pros
  • Great performance
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Great product but broke after 3 years of brief use

I got this vacuum back in 2016 to clean my computer and keyboard. Having the vacuum act as a giant air tank feature is incredibly useful and has undoubtedly saved me from buying a lot of air tanks. Although after pretty much exactly three years of use it just stopped working for no apparent reason. I used this vacuum very rarely, maybe once every three months on average for just a few minutes at a time. I recently used it to clean my computer, I put it in, set it back up and then it wouldn't…

Pros
  • All steel construction
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Great unit, minor issues

First off, it's a powerful vacuum/blower and I love it. I originally bought this to dust Mom and Dad's computers during their inevitable annual formatting and maintenance since they live in a house full of exotic parrots (which produce very fine daddy dust) and a few dogs. Because of this, I needed something that could not only blow fine dust off heatsinks and fans, but also suck out hard-to-reach clumps of dust and hairballs. This machine is excellent on both counts and I've even started using

Pros
  • 120 volt .75 PHP, 4.5 amp, CFM 70, weight 3 lbs. Power supply for vacuum cleaner/fan.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Better than expected

I was trying to decide between the Metro Vac ED-500 cloth and this all-purpose cloth/vacuum. I really wanted something that could do both, so I decided to give the DataVac Pro a try. I saw some good reviews and some not so good ones so I was a little worried. I have to say I love this product! The vacuum part is what you would expect and works just as well as a regular stand with hose. The vacuum cleaner comes with a hose, regular sized brush, crevice tool, spot cleaner and a micro cleaning kit

Pros
  • 2 Year Limited Engine Warranty; Made in the USA
Cons
  • Out of fashion
