I have a 1997 f150.4.6 V8. Got a truck with 254.xxx miles last year. Gas mileage was terrible. I knew it was time for an overhaul and ordered this set of Motorcraft connector cables and motorcycle plugs. In any case, problem #8 is rear, the cable doesn't hold onto the connector, it pops out and causes a misfire. 2 months trying to solve the problem. A vacuum leak was found which I repaired. I was about to check the compression when I noticed that the #8 wire was barely next to the spark plug. I reinstalled it and tested the car. A few miles later the misfires came back. I checked and the cord was unplugged again. I replaced the new cable with the old cable and the problem did not recur. I tried to contact the seller but couldn't find any contact information. I tried calling Amazon but they don't have phones. I checked the Motorcraft website and they don't have contact information. I called Ford Motor Company and spoke to a young man who said I needed to contact Motorcraft but was unable to provide contact information. I called 2 local dealers and they said I had to call Revain for a replacement. What good is a 2-year guarantee if you can't use it? I know things happen, but it doesn't upset me anymore.
