This "little" air pump is easy to use. While it doesn't have an automatic pressure shutoff, it does have a pressure gauge on the air hose assembly so you can monitor the pressure. I first tested this to refill my high pressure 5 gallon portable tank and it easily filled it to 120psi. He did this in 20psi increments with a "cool down" period in between because I understand that this unit is not designed to last very long periods of time and at such a high volume. My pressure tank and this pump showed a 10psi difference, and the pressure tank reading was lower. I'm not sure what's wrong. However, filling car and bicycle tires was very easy. The kit includes a very long tube so that you can reach the tires very far from the 12V socket. Ideally this booster pump should run on either 12v or 110v, but for roadside or emergency use it is fine.
