Review on Renewed beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro Black – Enhanced DT1990 Version (Renewed) by Mateusz Morawski ᠌

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

Headphones are very well made, almost all metal, leather, velor, high quality build and parts. I chose them not purposefully, I came for discounts and aimed at T1 2gen, T5p 2gen, at the same time I listened on the recommendation of DENON and a small series of analogues in the budget of 50-60 thousand. The consultant, seeing my doubt, suggested this model and I don’t understand why buy, for example, T1 when there is this? I listen to them on a computer with a Sound Blaster G6 and in conjunction with a KANN Alpha player, a variety of Hi-Res of different genres, I can do it for hours in them. If we talk about the stage, depth and so on, then just imagine that you are standing in the middle of the stage, looked into the face of the vocalist, put your ear to the double bass, stood next to the guitarist, hearing the picks click on the strings, the lows are already normal, everything is heard as it should and the only thing that bothers you sometimes is the overzealous cymbal drummer. If you are looking for something else, a la performance especially for you, a show where you are a spectator at a distance, then it is better to look for something else. I don't work in them and don't intend to, I just like how they sound, maybe flared and justified, but just listening to music in them is better than working :)

Pros
  • Beautiful detailed sound, you can hear every little thing, just amazing. Neutral in sound, just as much bass as needed, but perhaps there is a moment with highs.
Cons
  • Recordings with pronounced highs personally annoy me, not comfortable.
