I was also excited to find the Walthers Layout Control System but it was just annoying. I bought three power distributors and one is defective - it does not supply power to anything. I had problems with the switches, one stopped working completely after a few days, the micro switches on a few others work most of the time, but then all of a sudden the frog won't eat because the micro switch gets stuck in one spot. I spent a lot of time checking circuit and switch continuity. And then the system is so sensitive to voltage changes or signals, picking up feedback from other cables or whatever, that the switches suddenly switch randomly. I've spent hours splitting and rerouting cables. The only time I've managed to avoid those gremlins is when all the cables just hung loosely under the breadboard, but for portable breadboard modules that move, this will never work - they'll snag or snag. while driving on something and pulled out. Walthers tech support has been responsive, but no amount of tech support will solve basic product design and quality issues. I finally gave up.
