Review on Effortlessly Uncork with the Amazon Basics Stainless Steel Wing Corkscrew Wine Opener by Melody Watson

I've had several of these types of corkscrews and have never been particularly impressed. They seemed weak and sometimes had to work harder than necessary to open a bottle of wine. I ended up with a battery doing the trick. But after using it, I might start using it. First, it has some weight. It doesn't look cheap in any way. It has a very sharp pointed end of the screw and the part you hold to screw in is large and easily twisted into a cork. When the levers are pushed down to uncork, they operate smoothly and easily to take out the cork. I'm really impressed with how well built it is and how easy it is to open a bottle of wine. This wine bottle opener is highly recommended.
