I bought 2 of these for the desktop in dual channel. I don't have stats on their speed, but mostly it feels like unless youre doing ram intensive workloads you won't notice the few hundred MHz of bandwidth you're losing. They don't have a heat spreader so if you have memory instability or system crashes it could be worth picking some after market ones up for cheap. I have yet to find a better deal on 32gb of ram new out of the box of ddr4. You could get 4x8 sticks but with the 16 you have the option of upgrading to 64gb if your motherboard has 4 ram slots. Overall very happy with the product.
