I purchased a kit of two 8 MB RAM sticks, hoping to add to my existing two 4MB Samsung sticks that came with the computer. I bought 2 of these for the desktop in dual channel. I don't have stats on their speed, but mostly it feels like unless youre doing ram intensive workloads you won't notice the few hundred MHz of bandwidth you're losing. They don't have a heat spreader so if you have memory instability or system crashes it could be worth picking some after market ones up for cheap. For a low budget but a high-value product, the Timetec Hynix IC 16GB Kit is perfect for the job. Instead of purchase an individual 8GB module, I purchase the 16Gb kit for additional savings. Each module works excellent with my ASRock H310M-ITX/ac mobo.

Initially it looked good, but the desktop started getting frequent Blue Screens due to Memory Management. Not good. Went back to my old memory.

I had 8 gigs in my A1 slot and then inserted this stick into my A2, powered on my desktop and got the critical source error. tried every slot and still the error, so i put this stick in the A1 slot and everything was fine. Weird error and probably somehting on my part but i have been putting ram into computers many times over the years and never encounter a problem like this. Otherwise its a fast, inexpensive ram stick.

The RAM worked well individually, but I encountered issues often when I had the sticks paired together. I just decided to run them in separate machines.

A soon as I installed the memory the computer start crashing. Did the Windows Memory Diagnostic and was able to find the bad stick. Revain did a great job and will send me another pair. I will update this review after trying the new set.

great product at a great price as you know hynix memery can be overclocked higher than any other memory. just dont get to crazy with it and the 4gb chips run dual channel with eachother so buy as needed.

One of the RAM sticks I received was defective and exacerbated a hard drive issue with my computer which ended up corrupting my operating system. Pass on these and pay the extra money for a better quality product from a reputable brand.

I put one 8 gig stick of this memory in a Lenovo Thinkcentre M900 desktop tower 10FD0007US about 10 days ago. I have never installed additional memory before, so I had a little trouble at first, but I finally got it right. Bought this for a four year old Dell I replaced with a custom build. The Dell is now a file server. I needed a stick of RAM to get it going. Not bad for the price. Works as expected.

For the price hard to pass up. Solved many of my PC issues. The low rating on "Easy to Install" is due to the design of my PC and not the chips. I literately had to take half my PC apart to install the chips.

The memory came in a sealed package, fit perfectly, and gave a huge boost to the computer's performance. I would not hesitate to buy from Timetec again.

Haven’t heard of the brand before, but this was for a simple G3930, Ubuntu, HTPC build. Worked great out of the box. I was able to overclock it to 2400mhz easily.

I am running Linux Mint Cinnamon 19.1 on my PC. Motherboard is MSI H110M Pro. Processor 8 core Intel I7-6700 3.4 GHz. I am running dual monitors off of a GeForce 710B graphics card. I originally had 8 GB Crucial memory. My system kept freezing up and I noticed that I was using up a lot of memory with the SW I was running. After I installed this memory, my system is running perfectly.
