Review on π Enhanced Performance KYB KG4530 Gas Shocks for Superior Ride Control by Raymond Simmons
Good in the front, not so good in the back.
I can't remember if this part number was for the front or rear of my 1985 Mercedes 300D so I'll cover both here. The front wheels were great with good damping, good rebound and helped a lot with the car's handling. The rear shocks were a different story, they didn't handle the car's weight well so the rear of the car was still a little springy. I recommend getting heavy tires for the rear if you have a car of this style and want a firmer ride than the original.
