Ideal for shops, garages, paved areas and hard floors

What a great little cart. If you've ever used a handcart you'll appreciate it, the difference is comparable to moving around with a mining shovel or with an excavator. This makes it possible to move our tandem axle trailers, single axle trailers with equipment on our AB hard gravel course with small sinks. ASSEMBLY takes about 30 minutes including unpacking. You install 3 wheels, a handlebar, run cables through the frame into the battery compartment, from there all the cables slide over the connectors. Also place the ball on the square tube. You will need a wrench or socket wrench. Batteries are charged and tires are delivered filled or pumped up. HITCH BALL SIZE CAN BE CHANGED It comes with a 2" ball but if you need other sizes look for products called replacement hitch balls or linkage balls. They usually have a 1 inch threaded shank, which is required for square tubing. They have multiple sizes that slide on the shaft, great if you have multiple different sized pendants to move around. In addition, these interchangeable kits have the required smaller diameter shoulder/collar to remove the round adjustable ring on the square tube that comes with this cart. CAPABILITIES Maximum trailer weight is 3600 lbs. Maximum drawbar weight is 600 lbs. We easily move a 2200 lb tandem axle and a 1200 lb single axle. It can only be used on concrete, pavement and hard ground with a slope of 4% or less. NO BRAKES - It has no brakes and spins freely with some resistance. So if you push your limits, be prepared for someone to chock under the trailer's wheels to stop it going downhill. Also, you can't just throw it backwards, that will cut the power supply. You let go of the throttle completely, then press it again to engage reverse. Which, by the way, does not have to be throttled as much as when driving forward, so check before towing the trailer. SPEED - 1/2 to 1-1/2 mph. It might not sound like much, but it is when you're backing up. You might want to step aside and control him instead of confusing yourself. WITHOUT SUSPENSION - it has a straight axle and if you are unfamiliar with that, when the tire hits a small dip or over a rock the handlebars will follow and tilt. TIRES AND ROLLER Front Rim 13" x 5" x 6" Tires are pneumatic, the manual says to inflate to 30psi and the sidewalls say to inflate cold to 28psi. As they are already inflated arrived I have not tested them. The tread pattern reminds me of the turf tires on lawn mowers and golf carts. You may find studded tires that are better suited to your application if they are too slick. FYI if you fit tires have those Axles are important guide blocks Make sure they stay in place while you put the tires on I have had no problems with them off but you lose them on the mower and the tire spins only Swivel solid rubber roller can be lubricated and has a fit Household outlet Batteries are charged on arrival HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE H The square tube and ball is similar to what you use in a car receiver except it has a lot of height adjustment lable. You want this to be in the lowest position while keeping the trailer level. For example, if it is too high and the rear of the trailer is lower than the front, or if it is too low and the front of the trailer is lower than the rear, when the trailer is moved with a dolly and driven onto a bump, tip over or give up, the dolly can tip over on 2 front wheels and snatch the steering wheel out of your hand, hit you in the face or hit your trailer and so on. Also use the correct size ball for the trailer you are towing, use the trailer ball lock the same way you would tow your car and tighten the yoke on the dolly against the trailer tongue. GENERAL THOUGHTS This is great gear for trailer handling in tight spaces or if you don't want to hook up your car every time you just need to move it a little. It's not at all like the carts you see when you see airplanes on the runway or giant transporters moving. But with practice, precautions, and staying within your limits, it's amazing! Hope that was helpful, thanks!
