Love this yarn bowl

Exactly what I was looking for...something to help hold the yarn in place while I'm using it. I really like this yarn bowl. It holds the balls of yarn or skeins of yarn and keeps them in one place while I work with them. The ball of yarn/cake just moves safely in the bowl and stays clean. No more balls of yarn flying across the floor picking up dust and fluff. The product description said the bowl was 6 x 6 x 2.9 inches, so I knew it would work for cakes and balls of yarn. Bought one to try and liked it so much I buy another to hold a second ball of yarn when using two balls of yarn together, to make warm winter clothes. I'm glad I tried. I saw a comment about someone having trouble with a ball of yarn being left in the bowl. I've had this problem with every yarn I use. Maybe it's your cup placement. Try this: Position the bowl in front of you so that the twine holder opens to the left. The open slit you thread the yarn through should be furthest from you. Now start stretching the yarn as you use it. The thread should move over the part that doesn't have a slit that is away from you, preventing it from exiting the guide hole. hope this helps you The thread should move over the part that doesn't have a slit that is away from you and prevent it from to leave the guide hole. hope this helps you The thread should move along the part that doesn't have a slit that's away from you. not allow it to come out of the pilot hole. hope this helps you
