This product is marked as rated for light bulbs up to 250W. I had 2 malfunctions and within 6 months of purchase I became a fire hazard. I've built custom cases for my kites and used this jig in two of them. Both only had 75-watt and 100-watt bulbs that heated up on an automatic timer, and both ended up burning the power cord and rendering it unusable (all sockets and wiring were correct). I thought it was an isolated case where the first one blew, but now the second one has failed in the same extremely dangerous way.
