I was really hoping that this 20w solar panel charger would work for me. Everything I read said that 20 watts would be enough to keep the battery charged in my RV as the battery was only needed to power the electronics. After several weeks of talking to tech support and fixing connection errors, mostly on my end, I was finally able to test Panel well and unfortunately it failed. I live in eastern Oregon and we get 7-8 hours of sun or cloud in the winter. Initially I was so excited that it would finally load that I didn't test it for 10 days. The battery is empty! Then I charged the battery, reconnected the solar panel and started checking the voltage every day. Even on sunny days, the power consumption from the battery was higher than the amount generated by the solar panel. I had to charge the battery with an electric charger every 10-14 days. Art defeats the idea of a solar panel charger. Tech support was very helpful and the only suggestion they had was to buy a 100w solar panel from them. Call me stupid but I wouldn't buy another panel from the same manufacturer unless the first one did what it was advertised to do.
