UPDATE #2: Just bought a second set. After almost two years I am still very happy with the Photoolex batteries and have a responsible work week ahead of me and I thought it would be nice to have four batteries. just in case. although I probably won't need them. UPDATE: I just got back from three days of almost constant six hour a day filming in Mexico City and only one of those batteries was 50% dead. I didn't even need a second one! Far superior to the Canon battery. Two batteries and one charger for half what Canon charges with just one battery! As soon as I received them I immediately put the Canon battery in the Photoolex charger and one of the Photoolex batteries in the Canon charger. So far, so good. Nothing strange. Both charged fairly quickly and when I was done I popped the Photoolex battery into my EOS70D. It worked fine. no questions. I'll be shooting with the CDMX for 3 days next week so I'll see how they hold up compared to the Canon battery and let me know if I have any complaints.
