Bought this for my Canon 70D and just tested the wireless shutter option in my living room. So far, so good! I plan to go tonight to test it out and take photos of me and my husband. I love all the options it offers but the main reason I bought this unit was because the receiver is NOT connected to the hot shoe which I need for my output. Camera flash trigger/controller. Really excited to review this guy next!

Hello. I learned all about the power of Scotty in Star Trek years ago. This device was a gift to my nephew who is new to photography and his Canon camera. This dueling powerhouse is the perfect choice for those who need a working battery that's always ready to go. The price was very cheap and does not take up much space when in use. My nephew is happy with his new toy and I hope he learns a lot from his system.

Not weak for batteries and chargers

This is an updated review. The supplier did a great job with customer service, sending me new ones at a big discount and getting about 300 clicks from each. Don't let the camera meter fool you, it drops down to 2 bars very quickly and then comes back sometimes, so I keep an eye on the shutter speed. Normally I would say good for the price but not this time. Two weeks, 1 used once each, 1 is dead, the other lasts about 120 clicks, comes back after I return from vacation. On the positive side…

I love the wireless

Although each of my DSLRs came with a wireless remote control, this bad boy works best when I'm painting with light, shooting time lapse and when I'm far away from the camera. FYI, it not only works with my Canon (ordered) but also with my Sigma SD-15. Crazy. Finally, don't write checks for this, but I recently got into the east coast monsoon season. Works great as a backup

Have these for backup batteries as I will be shooting all day without power. I let the batteries charge for several hours. The charging LEDs are working properly and will turn green when complete. I put one in the camera to make sure it works. I get a message that it can't be charged in the cell and asks if I want to continue. I did exactly that and they work great. After a few weeks I connected the charger to charge the batteries before use. One showed a full charge so I took it back out of…

UPDATE #2: Just bought a second set. After almost two years I am still very happy with the Photoolex batteries and have a responsible work week ahead of me and I thought it would be nice to have four batteries. just in case. although I probably won't need them. DO NOT BUY THESE BATTERIES! I bought these batteries for my Canon 80d because I saw the reviews looked pretty good. I received the batteries, charged them fully, then put them in the camera, the camera worked for four hours and then stopped working completely. My camera turns on but doesn't take pictures LCD screen is black, video doesn't record, menu doesn't appear, everything with the camera is broken.
