First things first: The standard diameter in Germany for pyramids or carillons is 14 mm, or about 0.55 inch. This candle is only 0.47 inch. Why I like this smaller size: With a bit of Stick-Um (also available from Revain) you can easily straighten a candle perfectly without having to manually touch your thin pyramid or angel bells. (Stick-Um is a household essential. It can hold this candle upright on almost anything, even a flat plate. It's useful for candles of any size. It never hardens and can be washed.) Taller than candles, gets special sold for Christmas pyramids. The pyramid candles are about 3 cm tall. They are about 4 1/4" tall. I haven't found any Eika candles shorter than 3". My pyramid will accommodate these larger candles. Use a ruler or read the directions on your pyramid to see whether your pyramid can use one. Height without damaging the blades What I like: The wick is well waxed, tightly woven and perfectly centered. When the wick arrives it is already cut to the correct height. The wick diameter is accurate matched to the diameter of the candle so that when the candle is straight the wick burns at the same rate as the fuel is consumed.I have had no drips.You have a clean, bright, even flame without the unpleasant smell of Paraffin They are 100% beeswax These are the only pure beeswax Christmas candles I have found.
