I am one hundred percent satisfied with the purchase, I recommend this product to everyone.

I chose for a long time, I even thought about the modern, not new, but not ancient G-version, but I didn’t like the slowness, plus Krasitsky (aka DVDM) caught up with doubts by comparing 1.8D, 1.4G and 1.4D versions.
I also really wanted the sharpness of the new 50mm Sigma and the 45mm Tamron stabilizer. But the weight, the size. if you give up on them, then I have not that razor-sharp, but more than sufficient 24-70 / 2.8G. I wanted something compact, light, with a nice picture, not inferior in speed to either 24-70 / 2.8 or the existing 50 / 1.8D - and I think I found my lens.
I won’t give any pictures in the review, because the lens is more than well-known and there are no secrets left about it. He only spoke about the reasons for choosing him, when formally there are alternatives to him.

Pros

Lightweight, compact, fast, very nice picture during the day, good sharpness at aperture from 2 and good - from 2.8, inexpensive.

Cons

Here, aliexpress considers it necessary to write "what did not live up to your expectations." But I already knew a lot about the lens and there is nothing "unjustified" here))) Among the shortcomings (well, you never know, who doesn’t know) are “nuts” on bright light sources, since the aperture is 7-bladed and without rounding. Sharpness, of course, is not phenomenal, again, coma, HA, etc.

Up to diaphragm 2 soap. The meaning in such aperture disappears completely. Then take 1.8 - it will cost three times cheaper.

Pros: Compact Light Blurs the background! Not the highest clarity/sharpness at 1.4 Focuses 3 times faster 50/1.4G Cons: Chromatitis up to 2-2.8 Softit up to 1.7-2.2 Not the most accurate af on 1.4 There is a slight backlash.
