The AF NIKKOR 50mm f/1.4D DSLR Lens from Nikon is a very effective standard length lens compatible with both FX and DX format Nikon DSLRs. Lens construction: 7 elements in 6 groups. - A very good picture, open 1.4, autofocus.
- I am not very picky and for my amateur tasks it has no drawbacks.
- Lightweight, compact, quick, produces a very excellent picture during the day, has good clarity at apertures of 2 and good - at apertures of 2.8, and is reasonably priced.
- AliExpress believes that it is important to ask customers in this section "what did not live up to their expectations." But, I had prior knowledge regarding the lens, and there is nothing "unjustified" about this situation))) One of the drawbacks (well, you never know, who doesn't know), "nuts" on bright light sources, due to the fact that the aperture has 7 blades but no rounding, is included in the list. It goes without saying that the sharpness is not remarkable; once more, coma, HA, etc.
- Not quite as much, though balls on the bokeh is a feature that appeals to some audiences.
- It's not contrast that's the big question; sharpness is. The design from the previous century is not compatible with backlight, and it is too expensive for a lens of this type.
- Light (it really helps to shoot indoors and at dusk handheld), allows you to achieve an ultra-small depth of field, quite beautiful and strong background blur - a huge scope for creativity :), much cheaper than AF-S, autofocus with a "screwdriver" is quite fast and accurate.
- There is no internal focusing (when focusing, a part with a lens extends from the lens), which contributes to the penetration of dust; in addition, before putting it in the case, in order to push this part back, you must either aim at the oo or switch to manual mode and push it. The coolest (aka matrix or 3D) carcass exposure metering does not work (at first it let me down a lot; although the problem disappears if you shoot completely in manual mode)
- Best lens for the money, cool bokeh.
- I got it without a hood. There is nowhere to mount it on the body. if only on glass . but then when focusing, the lens hood will also spin, this is not cool
- Not so much, probably balls on the bokeh, some people like it.
- Not contrast, sharpness is a big question. The construct of the last century, does not tolerate backlight, it is too expensive for such a lens!
- Great luminosity. Light. Well put together. Excellent picture, sharpness from F 2.0 Fast focus on the D7100. Beautiful bokeh. Allows 24 MP camera matrix Not too loud for a screwdriver lens, the sound is louder in the reviews, apparently depends on the camera servo. For the D7100, a good solution for video shooting (a convenient focusing ring, good aperture, an aperture ring to adjust without turning off LiveView).
- At F 1,4 with artificial lighting, chromatic aberrations are in the center of the frame (on the target, this is about 3% of the frame in the very center). Doesn't always focus well. If you shoot at night a lamp on a concrete pole or the moon, then a miss in 60% of cases. Strong soft effect at F 1.4. The result is highly dependent on the type of lighting.
