I have a pretty decent Dell laptop (also not the lightest in the world) and they work very well. My laptop sounded like a helicopter and I couldn't even hear people talking over Zoom because of the noise. It seemed like a quick and easy fix. It definitely is! When it arrived in a tiny box I naturally thought it was a joke and definitely ordered the wrong item. However, I was wrong! The adhesive is strong and lifts the laptop up just enough to allow the fan to circulate without creating too sharp an angle that makes typing uncomfortable (10 degrees to be exact). You can also fold them up and down as needed if you don't want to fold up your laptop all the time. The only thing that would make it better would be if the plastic that touches the tabletop had some sort of grip to keep the laptop in place.
