The shape of your ears is important, but try them out first!
I liked the amount of noise reduction this helped with. Comfort is amazing at first, but after a few minutes my ear starts to feel tired. I've tried all three sizes with no success. I won't discredit them because the build quality is great and the fit is great and I have to consider the shape of my ear in the canal. Due to the way Apple designed the tips, there is a piece of plastic on the inside of the foam rubber (and apple tips) that can put pressure on the canal. Recommendation: try them, I wish they would work for me. No company fault.
