It's loud by itself and the bubble flow is angry. This scared my Betta who wouldn't swim next to her and it ruined her feeding. It takes a bit of fine tuning to properly attach and tighten to the Raid rubber straps to secure the pump to the tank so it doesn't vibrate from your body. Sounds stressful, but it's working great now, and Chino loves to take a bubble bath every now and then.
