Choking hazard - edge and corner protection
Although the idea behind these devices is very good, I caution all parents. They pose a significant choking hazard. I placed a dozen in different corners of the house. Glue works well with metal. Unfortunately, it doesn't work well with wood. My 10 month old took it out of the tree and straight into his mouth. We saw that immediately and ran to him, only we were too late and he started gagging, complete silence with the air supply shut off. We managed to fish him out and gave him a gag reflex, so he vomited it all up. Thank goodness we were there. Remember that glue doesn't work well with wood. We then removed them throughout the house. Better seams and scares instead of alternatives.
