I understand that they are cheap but of poor quality. I've used watercolor pencils which don't feel dry and need water to be usable...there's a weird thick substance that sticks to the paper unless you smooth it out. I just want to color something, not necessarily that. If you want to paint with watercolor, just use watercolor, not this one.
