I understand that they are cheap but of poor quality. I've used watercolor pencils which don't feel dry and need water to be usable...there's a weird thick substance that sticks to the paper unless you smooth it out. I just want to color something, not necessarily that. If you want to paint with watercolor, just use watercolor, not this one.

I love these pens! The pen holder also has a lot of space, so I can also use it for my markers. The colors are unlabeled so it's a bit of a hassle to do it yourself (I chose not to use the stickers provided because I'm impatient), the colors are beautiful and just a joy to use! It's hard for me to say anything negative about the quality and the pen holder is the icing on the cake!

Brushes come with color-by-number stickers and reference card. I wish the pens were premarked as I had to premark them for my color blind father. The tagging was very tricky as the purple turned out to be missing and replaced with neon pink, causing the confusing tagging session to last about half an hour longer than it should have been. I saw in the comments that I'm not the only one who didn't have a purple brush.

I love these watercolor brushes, they come in a variety of colors as well as duplicates of black, blue, red and yellow. I really like the water pen brush that comes with it, it makes it easy to blend colors and looks very smooth. Pen holder keeps them in place and organized. I had trouble applying color stickers on pen color due to slight color difference between markers and stickers and also the stickers were very small. The brush pen is very precise with a fine tip.
