Works as advertised when I plugged in my MacBook and just synced it. NO configuration or anything. The screen is very sharp with no blemishes and looks fantastic in the few different lighting conditions I've used it in. Unpacking showed that I received a brand new device. Everything was still perfectly packed in the original packaging and unused. I am very happy with the dollars saved by purchasing this device. I don't think you will be disappointed.
