Review on πŸ”Œ Denso 234-4209 Oxygen Sensor with Connectors (not included) by Jevon Sterling

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The perfect piece for Original Equipment [wiring tips included!]

Exactly as advertised. This Denso part is the same OEM part for the more expensive turbo/supercharged Toyota/Lexus/Scion vehicles, so it will last hundreds of thousands of miles as the original part. If you have a decent set of wire crimps and wire strippers you can easily do this and save yourself half the cost and quite a bit of disassembly/assembly time like I did. The wires are color coded the same as the OEM and it doesn't matter which of the two black wires goes with which of the two stock wires. I considered connecting them together on a whim, just out of curiosity, but it's possible for the two circuits to switch negative, so I didn't take the risk. I have a suggestion for those considering taking this route as it has worked great for me; Cut each of the four wires 1/2" to 3/4" shorter than the next (can you think of a ladder? If that helps) and do the same, but mirror the original wire so the crimped parts line up not overlap. If they overlap, you won't get the massively increased mass back into the weatherproof shell, believe me; You do NOT want it to get wet on rainy days and it will. It also comes with heat shrink tubing for perfect weatherproofing of each individual connection, but do yourself a favor and use a long piece of extra heat shrink tubing with a diameter large enough to accommodate all four wires to create a second weather seal and then slide each end. this continuous length to the OEM sleeve on both sides of the splice connections. If you do all of this, and it's VERY easy if you have at least some decent tools and a little skill, you have a complete repair that's just as good as an OEM or application specific part that costs twice as much. the same number on Revain. Good luck to you all - OEM Denso is totally worth the extra few bucks for my Lexus LS!
