I just wanted to be able to turn off ethernet from my room that has a hole in the wall to the next room where there is a router and get things straight . a pain trying to mark the mount with a pencil when trying to attach it and then had to cut a little closer to the edge because the way the mount is designed can't easily make a proper mark . This was a minor issue though and I wouldn't deduct stars for it, it's just the nature of a project like this. For anyone wondering, this has ZERO impact on speed. My computer achieved download speeds of 350Mbps when connected directly to the router and still gets accurate 350Mbps with this wallplate.
