I got this for my puppy as a temporary collar while he was growing up, fits well but there are some really scratchy ones that seem to be inside that aren't soft are and disturb him when he is locked up. I took it off for a while, he immediately found and destroyed the clasp. This worked for a few days but if your dog is sensitive to barbed wire or similar then this is not the best choice.
