My 16 year old cat was losing too much weight so I started giving her a bowl of lactaid milk every day. Unfortunately, she started drinking her milk sometimes the way she drinks water - she would put her paw down and lick the milk off it. It makes a big mess, but if she doesn't drink milk, she'll get too skinny and not last much longer at her age. She doesn't drink it all at once, so paper towels aren't great for all-day use. I bought these towels to put under her bowl. I fold the towel in half and it absorbs moisture well enough that the milk she drips on doesn't seep into the bottom layer. The top layer soaks everything up so my bottom doesn't get milk. My kitten is fed and I get a clean floor - a win-win situation!
