I was very satisfied with the performance of my device. Even in the very busy Los Angeles urban radio environment, this worked quite well. However, there are two issues to consider, one small and one large. SMALL PROBLEM: The device generates a small amount of RF interference, so when listening to FM radio you will hear static noise from time to time. You can fix this by unplugging the device to turn it off. Not the most comfortable, but not difficult either. MAIN PROBLEM: The power connector end has poor mechanical design. It will break if you are not very careful when inserting or removing the device. There is a black plastic piece which is screwed in to maintain electrical contact. It breaks easily if you squeeze it a little. I originally purchased this unit from Best Buy and it came out of the box with a broken part. Returned and decided to order from Revain for a few bucks cheaper. But two weeks later the same piece broke again. If you install it and never remove it might be fine, but if you put it in and remove it from time to time (e.g. to clear radio interference) you don't have to count on it lasting too long. can be ordered from Revain for a few bucks cheaper.
