This cute and very colorful children's play mat has lots of things for the child to explore. Unfortunately, it is not particularly durable, the plastic parts are very light and thin. The toys hanging from the stabilizing bar are cute, but they're made out of hard plastic, which some people might not like. The rug itself is also thin but a good size. The music box is powered by 3 AA batteries (not included) and is quite simple. It's also made out of flimsy plastic and looks cheap. The music quality and volume are good and I love the surprised look on my baby's face when he suddenly kicks the keyboard! This mat won't last long, but for toddlers who aren't crawling yet, it provides nice sensory stimulation that feels safe.
