so I've used that in the past with no problems. I know this is a good product. However, this time most of my hair turned blue/too silvery. I was looking for a silvery white blonde and before that I wasn't very yellow. But my color has faded. Em. I don't mind because the roots look amazing, but I think my hair was porous. First I washed it with a clarifying shampoo, let it dry and let the color sit for 1.5 hours. Nothing crazy. My experience in the past has only been a mild effect, but for some reason this time it REALLY worked to the point where I was over toning. It's ok because I can lift my hair until I wash it again. I just wasn't expecting it and it's not the product's fault it's my fault for underestimating the effect/strength so I dried my hair as much as possible. Illuminating shampoo and let my hair dry. Not a good idea. The hair is not damaged, split ends are minimal. um It was new. Don't be discouraged, even if your hair is already very light, start at the roots to give the length less time. AND DO NOT LEAVE IT MORE THAN 45 MINUTES. It's better than a product that doesn't work at all. It has always helped me. but maybe too good this time. lol oh
