My 2003 BMW 3 Series Wagon had an intermittent engine stop problem. When stopping, the revs jumped up and down and the engine died. I couldn't find any reproducible conditions (hot, cold, uphill, downhill, flat, in the rain, not in the rain, etc. There seemed to be no pattern.) I swapped out the ICV, intake boot, and DISA. valve, and after that the machine behaves for a short time, and then immediately returns to intermittent stalling. I am very pleased to report that replacing the MAF with this product finally solved the problem. I've driven the car a lot in the weeks since installation and the revs are as stable as can be and the idle is smooth. I'd love to start - but you never know until it's decided!
