Works great!

1999 BMW 329i E46 coded P1188/P1189 for about 2 weeks. The car would then oscillate, misfire, and shut down intermittently. Disconnected the old MAF and the car ran fine. I ordered this DMRV, installed it, the car starts as usual, there are no errors. I even got rid of the annoying intermittent P0401/2 that I was constantly chasing and replacing parts. The previous MAF was a used Bosch with eBay "OEM OEM only". That sucks, this MAF is worth it.

Great deal and it works!

This summer my 2000 BMW 528iT gave me road problems. It stalled almost completely and issued a P0102 code that caused my car to go into limp mode. I had to constantly clear ECU codes while driving and I hated it. Personally, I didn't want to spend $250 on an OEM mass air flow sensor for a car that is 18 years old, has over 200,000 miles and is only used for work. . After looking online I saw it had decent reviews and for the price I thought I'd give it a try. To my surprise, it got rid of theโ€ฆ

Confusing and annoying engine stop problem solved

My 2003 BMW 3 Series Wagon had an intermittent engine stop problem. When stopping, the revs jumped up and down and the engine died. I couldn't find any reproducible conditions (hot, cold, uphill, downhill, flat, in the rain, not in the rain, etc. There seemed to be no pattern.) I swapped out the ICV, intake boot, and DISA. valve, and after that the machine behaves for a short time, and then immediately returns to intermittent stalling. I am very pleased to report that replacing the MAF withโ€ฆ

Worth a try! in Mass Air Flow

I was a little skeptical at first as I've always been told not to buy a cheap MAF, but I trusted the reviews and my intuition. I would like to do this in advance and have ordered the part together with the inlet pipe in the kit which I would recommend. Everything fitted and I was able to reuse my tapes. The only real problem I had was that when I tried to connect the MAF sensor to the joint, it couldn't slide smoothly at all. You can see that there was a lot of extra casting where it shouldโ€ฆ

Does not replace OEM

REVIEW UPDATE 09/02/20: After less than 3000 miles this part unfortunately failed causing the Service Engine Soon and Transmission lights to illuminate causing the Safe/Auto Mode worked and very hard shifting. After replacing it with a stock BMW MAF sensor, all issues were resolved and gear shifting was perfect again.
