Bought because we have to do the dishes and it seemed like an environmentally conscious thing to do. I had a subscription and it renewed every few months. Well, the last two broke as soon as I used them. So this is not good. The head sticks only half an inch into the bamboo handle where it breaks. So I go back to my 100% plastic and wash it in the dishwasher. If they don't break, they're good. The bristles are good and firm, there is a flat plastic nozzle for washing dishes. The handle is short but of good size and shape. Wood is beautiful too. I happily broke them in half, tossed the pin in the woods behind my house, and recycled the head. Well I'm in now.
