I bought this device because my father has a profound hearing loss and he came to visit us for a week. I really liked it as long as the transmitter was plugged into the RCA audio output jacks. that the TV speaker system can be very quiet or even muffled and the headphone volume can be controlled separately. When we first set up this device, the process was pretty simple. When first tested with traditional TV channels, it looked like the device was amazing. We then tried using Netflix and YouTube via Chromecast. BIG PROBLEM. After unplugging and reinstalling the device after playing with it for over 30 minutes, we found that the headphone transmitter should be broadcasting on the same frequency as WiFi and Chromecast. When the station was on and broadcasting, we couldn't use the casting. When the transmitter was off, everything worked as before. When we watched normal TV, the headphones worked perfectly. Even when the device worked, I was disappointed that the maximum volume still might not be loud enough for me, dad. I sent the device back. Thank you Rewin!
