They work, but they're weak.
work but weak. I would not recommend them for car/boat/van use. I broke off one of the heads after a few on and off cycles. Also, the plastic nut that holds it to the plate is very cheap plastic and I removed a couple of the heads. On the positive side, the red light is nice and bright.
