It was a really good proofing basket. The size was perfect. I give it a three because the craftsmanship was hardly good enough, at least it was with what I got. I liked the shape and how it was deep rather than sloping like everyone else, which allowed the dough to retain a rounded but larger shape as it rose. Unfortunately I had to return it as it didn't have a canvas case and the rattan was splintering and the basket had many large gaps between the tiers of rattan and I couldn't use it without the canvas case. I would have kept it with those minor imperfections if I had taken the one with the linen cover. I plan on reordering this but with a canvas case.
