I thought I had found the perfect solution for my little putty projects but it didn't work for me. I've puttyed up a few spots on the walls before painting them and I've heard you can use a damp drywall sponge to get the dust off. This is great in theory, but it didn't work for me like I was hoping. About the first couple of pitches were ok, but then all the other pitches after that weren't so much sand, but wet and wet. This may be user error, but I think I'll use a different method in the future.
