Good product. Where we live we collect rainwater from the roof for all our water needs. This is our only source. We had a problem with snails and although the tight cover keeps snails from getting into the tank I wanted to try and create a barrier that would stop them from climbing up the tank. I washed the spot with alcohol (preferably acetone) and pasted the tape. It's going very well. Not super sticky, but the tape is thin and flexible. Unfortunately the snails we have were not impressed and climbed right over the barrier. You'll have to try it in your area, but I have to say this doesn't work for us. But this is a very good product. It is interesting to note that on the second night several snails stopped just below the tape and only two crawled over it. Maybe some time in the air will do something that will make them more effective as a barrier.
