Review on Dorman 904 419 Fuel Pump Strainer by Danny Flores

I lost the cross after replacing the screens in both tanks on my truck. The resulting rotational force hit the fuel tank and ruptured it. When changing the tank, not only did the fuel screen roll around in the tank, but the screen also fell out with the bypass valve. This is unlikely to be due to a gimbal hitting the tank, so I inspected the second tank. As in the case of the first tank, the strainer was removed from the assembly and the bypass valve collapsed. The second tank was NOT damaged due to a transmission error.
