Great product at an affordable price. I had no idea how easy it would be to make prints without the mess! There is a plastic barrier between the child's foot/hand and the ink, so the pressure of the foot pushes the ink side against the paper. Fabulous! You have 3 "attempts". Everything was acceptable, my husband held it while I squeezed his pinky/toes. The key is to put good pressure on each toe/toe. It can smear a bit, but I've found that on the third try, since you're dealing with less ink, you actually get a better print. You reuse the same ink pad. I would definitely buy this product again for our next child one day! The size of the photo is a bit strange, but I printed mine on photo paper at home.
