Review on GE Adapter Polarized Workshop 54180 by Ben Diesel
This is a cheaper (not as durable) version of what they used to sell (GE).
More fragile than the originals years ago as it's now (like everything else) made in China. This is not necessary, you risk damaging the adapter. Also hold on to the base of the adapter when connecting something else. You could do the same. It would have been nice to have a longer pull chain or at least a rope (I made my own extension for this) but I'm also 6ft 6" so that was never a problem. Be careful how many amps/watts you are drawing from the dual outlet adapter or you may run into problems.
