I bought this for a medium sized classroom. Although the quality of the camera wasn't good enough to read the blackboard, I didn't buy it for that and it didn't bother me too much. The motion or sound detection system it includes is very good, and as soon as someone started speaking, the camera would turn to face them and automatically focus. This works very well for a meeting where several people are discussing a project with distant participants. Its compact design and ease of use have made it a hit with non-technical meeting leaders. Also, I didn't think I'd want fisheye lenses for the whole room, but I liked it and it's become one of my favorite features.
