I bought this for my friend's apartment for Christmas. There really is a fireplace everywhere! Light it up and it will instantly create an atmosphere in any room. If you want to warm up a cold night with your loved one, use this! If you want to heat a room with it, turn on the thermostat because that doesn't work. It adds some warmth but not enough to really heat up the room. Buy a funnel or you can make a big mess by pouring fuel into the device. I went to the dollar store and bought this long one and it fits perfectly. There's no smoke, no fuss, soot, ash, wood, clutter. nothing but atmosphere! When you light it up, it "changes" the feeling of the room completely, as if you were somewhere else. I like it too. We love this fireplace. It gets + for romance! And it still looks nice.
