Spectra fails for GM's UN ingenious design movable water filler neck on heater core, Delco's original AC core failed, Delco's 2nd AC core failed after 3 years, bought this Spectra last year and is back defective after 1 year. Movable water intakes are where they keep leaking. Why did GM go for these instead of brazed intakes like they used to last 40 years, not a problem for me, especially when it takes about 14 hours of total labor to replace and refill. Air conditioning / air conditioning. I would seriously recommend putting a wad of permatex around the base of the necks, will try that on that last detour before this truck hits the rock if it fails again. Again, I'm not saying this is Spectra's fault, they've been using their cores and heatsinks for years with no problems, it's just a bad design flaw on the part of GM.
